ABOUT THE PROJECT
Wake Up Beaverton! is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a stronger, more connected community by ensuring neighbors have access to resources, information, and support—especially during times of uncertainty or need. Grounded in mutual aid and trust, they work alongside community partners to provide culturally responsive services, educational opportunities, and resource distribution for diverse populations, including immigrant, refugee, and underserved communities.
The Leadership Beaverton Class of 2026 is supporting Wake Up Beaverton! to help neighbors facing tough moments who may be unable to easily get to the store. Your donations make a direct impact in our community.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Be the drop-off spot that makes a difference! First, complete a short participation form with your business location and two primary contacts so we can coordinate delivery and pick-ups smoothly. Next, Wake Up Beaverton! will deliver a Food Barrel directly to your business and provide clear signage for your customers and staff. Once your barrel is full — or ready for pickup — simply scan the QR code provided on the barrel or email us to request a collection. Our team will handle the pickup and restocking as needed. As a participating partner, your business will also be featured on the Wake Up Beaverton! Food Barrel Google Map, helping community members easily find donation drop-off locations and increasing positive visibility for your business while supporting neighbors in need.
